I’ve always been a big fan of Lois Lane, especially the sassy and tenacious Lois on Superman: The Animated Series from the 90s. She may not be Superman’s number one gal anymore, thanks to the New 52 Universe, but soon she’ll be immortalized in our own real world. A comic book shop in Worcester, Massachusetts received approval to have a road adjacent to the store renamed to Lois Lane.
The comic store, called That’s Entertainment, will host an event to celebrate the installation of the Lois Lane street sign on Sunday, December 30, 2012. Superman artist Paul Ryan will be there to draw free sketches of Lois Lane for attendees. That’s Entertainment will also hold a “Lois Lane Look-Alike” contest during the event, and raffle off an autographed photo of the first actress to play Lane, Noel Neill.
Though this isn’t the first street ever to be named Lois Lane—there are over 20 in the U.S. and a few in Wales and Australia, according to Wikipedia—this seems to be the first instance in which a street was renamed specifically to honor the iconic Daily Planet reporter. She may not have super powers like Wonder Woman, but this goes to show that Lois Lane will always remain a fan favorite.

Okay, so it’s not the best FAN ART ever but it is the best fan art drawing of Lois Lane & Superman that I have ever seen.

So, recently I posted a Des Taylor picture that was posted on Fuck Yeah! Lois Lane. As you can tell, his work is good and I like it a lot. Mind you I don’t like everything but who does . . .
Anyway, I had decided look for more of his work. So, I followed my own link and I went through his blog – his entire blog! From it I pulled two different sets of images. Both are fantastic and worth viewing. However, because there are so many images I decided to split them up into two parts – the first will feature my favorite character – Lois Lane – the second will feature the cast of Star Trek, the Original Series. Enjoy!
